The Japanese guards required each group of POWs to contribute a number for Camp entertainment, setting up a wooden stage for this purpose. All POWs who could walk were required to attend.
Our Group entertainment number was TINIKLING. Lt. Marcos and Lt. Chua practiced for this number. They were both Ilocanos from Ilocos Norte. I don’t know where they got a ladies’ short dress, but our number was a HIT!
