When I woke up on the first Sunday of our Bar Exam, I told Pat that I had taken the Bar Exam in my dream and that I was not able to answer a question on adoption.
I took the Civil Procedure book and read about adoption before I left for the Normal School.
After praying, I opened the notebook containing the test questions. I did not answer the questions right away. I went over them one by one, intending to answer first the questions I was familiar with.
One question was: WHERE DO YOU FIND THE LAW ON ADOPTION? I’d just read the Civil Procedure where adoption is found. Then the next question was: “What are the rules for adoption?” The rules were still fresh in my mind, and so I answered these questions right away!
Those were trick queries, because our subject for that day was CIVIL LAW, not CIVIL PROCEDURE, which was supposed to be given on the last, or fourth, Sunday, together with Criminal Procedure. Many were not prepared for these questions.
