I’ve written a small green book on the 35 healings by Mr. Eleuterio Terte of Baguio City. He was truly a man of God who had God-given powers — healing people and their needs.
Pat and I visited Mrs. Amy Derige, a very beautiful mestiza, married to a doctor. We were surprised to see her full of nodes, oozing with pus and mucus and blood from head to foot. We were scared to get near to her, as she seemed to be afflicted with smallpox!
She said that no amount of medical help could cure her in spite of her husband’s medical ability and of other doctors who had tried to heal her.
The following weekend Pat and I visited her again. She was a very close friend of our family.
Much to our surprise, we saw her face and skin as clear as that of a baby! She said that a faith healer removed blood from her stomach and after that she got well. Her sores dried up and after taking a bath her original skin was restored, and even fairer!
I asked for the name and address of the healer, because at that time I could no longer play tennis, with sore right elbow and right shoulder. I could not even execute right-hand salute, and I used my left hand to salute the cadets and soldiers of PMA.
The following day, on my way to the office, I passed by the man’s address and introduced myself to him, telling him about my problem.
He said a prayer, made me lie down, and opened my stomach down to my hips. He made a prayer in Ilocano, then washed his hands with alcohol. After passing his hands across my stomach, I saw him draw blood with his bare hands and I noted him to place the blood inside the glass jar containing the alcohol. After a minute or two he pulled back my stomach and said: “It is finished.” I was healed!
I asked him, “How much?” He said it is FREE. I said, “Thank you.” He replied, “Thank God. He is your healer.” I asked: “If you do not receive fees, how do you live?” He said: “God provides all my needs. I just ask and He gives.” Amen!
